If pricing is done in real time, how are orders placed after the markets close priced?

Typically, the precious metals market is open from 6PM (EST) on Sunday until 5:15PM (EST) on Friday. The market is briefly closed each day between 5:15PM (EST) and 6PM (EST). Orders executed during the brief closing period will be processed at the last closing price.
