How are spot prices calculated?

Spot prices are calculated using Chicago Mercantile Exchange (CME) futures pricing with the addition of exchange for physical, or EFP. The price for the futures contract with the highest volume is typically used in the calculation of spot prices. Please note that spot prices can vary among dealers based on a number of variables, such as ask and bid prices, and price refresh rates.
